Moshi Bible School

Unlike many residents of western countries, Tanzanians are often eager to study the Bible. One way that we’re responding to that desire in the population centers of Arusha and Moshi is to teach Scripture from Bible Schools in these communities. Our preaching school teaches the Bible to ministers, and our leadership school trains Christians to grow in their leadership schools, but the Arusha and Moshi Bible Schools are designed to teach the gospel to people in the community who may be quite unfamiliar with the Bible. We offer classes in the school daily and weekly, and no one is turned away. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to lead dozens of Tanzanians to Christ through these schools.

An additional way of using these schools to open evangelistic doors will begin soon. We’re planning to offer various kinds of classes to members of the community—English, sewing, etc. We hope that by developing relationships with people in Arusha and Moshi, God will open doors for us to share the gospel with them as well.
